Services Provided

Roads 2 Resilience was initially founded with the goal of providing reliable vehicles to families and individuals who are in need, and added additional immediate resources to meet needs that may be challenging for more traditional avenues. Services are available to all residents of Solano, Napa, Contra Costa and Alameda Counties in California, with priority given to single parents with children and disabled Veterans.

Move-In Assistance

Application Fees: We recognize that application fees can be a barrier when securing housing. Our program assists with these costs to help you take the next step toward a stable living situation.

Moving Services: We can help coordinate moving assistance, ensuring you have the support you need to make your transition smoother.

Temporary Lodging: If there’s a gap between your current housing and your new home, we can connect you with temporary lodging options to ensure you have a safe place to stay.

Gently Used Appliances: We facilitate access to gently used appliances, helping you equip your new home without the added financial burden of purchasing new items.

Vehicle Donations

We accept donations of gently used vehicles, ensuring they are in good condition for families in need. Our dedicated team handles all aspects of the donation process, making it easy and hassle-free for donors.

We accept referrals from local nonprofit agencies to ensure vehicles are provided to families who truly need them the most. Referral forms may be accessed HERE, or on the Referral page.

Vehicle Refurbishment

All donated vehicles undergo thorough inspection and refurbishment to meet safety standards. We work with local auto dealers, as well as private parties, to obtain reliable and functional vehicles. Certified technicians perform essential repairs and maintenance, ensuring that each vehicle is roadworthy before it is handed over to a family.

Initial Maintenance Package

We provide an initial maintenance package for the first year, covering essential services such as oil changes, tire repair/replacement, and other necessary repairs. This support ensures that families can rely on their vehicles without worrying about immediate costs.

Insurance Assistance

Understanding the challenges of securing insurance, we assist families in obtaining affordable insurance coverage for their vehicles for the first year. This service provides peace of mind and ensures compliance with legal requirements.

Financial Literacy Counseling

To further empower families, we offer counseling on financial literacy, budgeting, and responsible vehicle ownership. These educational programs aim to equip families with the tools needed to manage their resources effectively.

Ongoing Support

We believe in building strong relationships with our recipients. Our team remains available for ongoing support, answering questions, and providing guidance as families navigate their new responsibilities as vehicle owners.

Community Engagement

We actively engage with local businesses and community organizations to create partnerships that enhance our services. By working together, we can extend our reach and impact more families in need.
